O my Muslim Brothers and Sisters,
Allaah, the Lord of the Worlds, is talking… .conversing with you and me, His
slaves… .requesting us that RIBAA (interest) is Haraam.
"O you who accept! Dread Allaah
and surrender what is still because of you from Ribaa on the off chance that
you are (genuinely) adherents." (al-Baqarah:278)
And afterward He WARNS us:
"Furthermore, assuming you don't
do it's anything but, a notification of WAR from Allaah and His
Messenger." [al-Baqarah:279]
Did we peruse the Ayah cautiously??
Perhaps, we should peruse it once more.
What does it say??
It says that assuming we don't
surrender ribaa (usury), we should take a notification of battle from Allaah
and His Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)
AT WAR?!! With WHOM?? With ALLAAH and
His Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و
سلم) !!??
Subhaan Allaah!!
In the Qur'aan, Allaah doesn't
announce battle on anybody with the exception of individuals who bargain in
ribaa.
Do we at any point understand being
at battle with Allaah and His Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)??
Do we at any point get it??
The individual at battle with Allaah
and His Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و سلم) will be given a weapon on the Day of Judgment; it will be said
to him: "Presently battle Allaah and His Messenger!!! (Ibn Katheer)
O Allaah save us from that !!
The one at battle with Allaah and His
Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و
سلم) is CURSED in this Dunya and in the Hereafter. He is DOOMED.
There is no bliss, no harmony, no NOTHING for him. He is only… . a LOSER.
But then, we keep on managing in
interest… .keep on resisting the Almighty… keep on fulfilling our cravings…
.keep on being at battle with Allaah and His Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)!
Where are we going??
What is wrong with us??
Is this world and its TEMPORARY
delights more significant than the joy of our Lord, the One Who supports us and
gives us everything… .and, I mean, everything??
Is it true that we are not terrified
of meeting Him??
How will we respond when we will be
given a weapon to battle??
Would we be able to even DARE????
Would we be able to try and want to
SURVIVE???
Allaah says:
"The individuals who eat Ribaa
won't remain (on the Day of Resurrection) with the exception of like the
remaining of an individual beaten by Shaytaan driving him to madness."
[Baqarah: 275]
At the end of the day, on the Day of
Resurrection, these individuals will get up from their graves similarly as the
individual who is crazy or as somebody moved by an evil spirit would. Ibn
'Abbas said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the individuals who devour Ribaa
will be revived while crazy and experiencing seizures." And simply take a
gander at the ahaadeeth in regards to this major, MAJOR sin!!
1) Interest sentences an individual
to serious discipline:
The Prophet (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)
said:
"Last night I saw two men who
came to me and took me out to a sacred land. We set out until we went to a
waterway of blood where a man was standing, and on the bank of the stream there
was a man with stones before him. The one who was in the waterway came and
needed to get out, yet the other man tossed a stone in his mouth and he
returned to where he had been. Each time he needed to get out, he tossed a
stone in his mouth and he returned to where he had been. I said, 'What is
this?' He said: 'The one whom you found in the stream is the person who
burned-through ribaa.'" (Bukhaari)
2) Interest destines an individual to
HELL:
The Prophet (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)
said:
" 'Keep away from the seven sins
that destruction an individual to Hell.' They said: O Messenger of Allaah, what
are they?' He said: 'Avoid, enchantment, killing a spirit whom Allaah has
prohibited us to kill, consuming ribaa (interest), devouring vagrants'
abundance, fleeing from the war zone, and defaming virtuous, guiltless
accepting ladies.' " (Bukhaari, Muslim)
3) ALL (immediate or circuitous)
dealings of Interest are Haraam:
The Messenger of Allaah (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)
reviled ten individuals:
the person who devours ribaa, the
person who pays ribaa, the person who records it, the two who witness it, the
person who makes it legal, the one for whom it is made legal, the person who
retains good cause, the person who does tattoos and the one for whom inking is
finished." (Muslim)
4) Interest is WORSE than ZINAA:
The Prophet (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)
said:
" A dirham which a man devours
as ribaa intentionally is more terrible before Allaah than THIRTY-SIX ACTS OF
ZINAA." (Ahmad, Tabaraanee-saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami').
5) Interest resembles COMMITTING
ZINAA with one's own MOTHER!!!
What's more, he (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)
said:
" There are 72 kinds of ribaa,
the least of which resembles a man submitting interbreeding with his own
mom." (Tabaraanee–saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami').
Astaghfirullaah!
We are nauseated with even the prospect of such awful demonstrations. However, notwithstanding every one of the alerts, all the ahaadeeth we read, every one of the talks we hear on this theme, we keep on being defiant… .we keep on enjoying our cravings, totally dismissing its results.
Allaah says:
"Have you seen he who took his
craving for a divine being? With information, Allah has driven him off track,
setting a seal upon his hearing and heart, and has made a shroud over his eyes,
who then, at that point will direct him after Allah? Will you not then
recall!" (al-Jaathia:23)
Isn't this world and anything that's
in it a hallucination and a test for the adherents?
In any case, by one way or another,
we purposely close our eyes on the proof and think of ALL the reasons on the
planet.
And afterward we can't help thinking
about why there is no harmony in our lives? Why our children are crazy? Why we
experience the ill effects of nervousness and discouragement? WHY THERE IS NO
BARAKAH?
A few reasons we think of:
1. In any case, I NEED a
house/vehicle/advance and so forth
The way that an individual may
require a house or vehicle, or to get hitched, or some other need, doesn't give
him the pardon to accomplish something that Allaah has prohibited. For what
reason do we need to BUY a house? We can generally lease.
For what reason do we must have a
major, extravagant house in the event that we can't manage the cost of it? We
can generally manage with a sensible spot.
Is it worth welcoming on Allaah's
fury? Simply consider everything.
Allaah says:
"Say: "Not equivalent are
Al-Khabith (detestable things) and At-Tayyib (beneficial things), despite the
fact that the bounty of Al-Khabith may satisfy you". (Surah
al-Ma'idah:100)
2. I just did it for my better half/kids
Our family may say thanks to us now,
yet THEY WILL CURSE US ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT… .in light of the fact that the
Prophet (صل اللہ عليه و
سلم) said:
"The tissue and body that is
raised on unlawful food will not enter Paradise. Damnation is more having the
right to the tissue that develops on one's body out of unlawful food."
(Ahmad)
What's more, guess what? We will
revile them as well… .in the event that we managed ribaa as a result of them,
when we will confront Allaah and respond to Him.
" O you who accept! Let not your
properties or your kids redirect you from the recognition of Allaah. What's
more, whosoever does that, then, at that point they are the LOSERS."
(Al-Munaafiqoon:9)
3. In any case, isn't there a fatwa
that says it's OK… .?
What is haraam is what has been
illegal by Allaah and His Messenger صل اللہ عليه و سلم(), and what is halaal is what has been allowed by Allaah and
His Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و
سلم). Since some SAY it is alright, when there is no desperate
need, doesn't make wrong right or right off-base. The Prophet (صل اللہ عليه و سلم)
has revealed to us that there will come when individuals will allow what Allaah
has prohibited, like infidelity, liquor and instruments. That doesn't imply
that these haraam things will then, at that point become halaal.
"Furthermore, say not worried
what your tongues set forth falsely:'This is legal and this is prohibited,' to
concoct lies against Allaah. Verily, the individuals who imagine lies against
Allaah won't ever succeed" [al-Nahl:116]
4. On the off chance that it was so
off-base, Allah would have rebuffed me long time back… .
Since Allaah is allowing us an
opportunity to apologize and fix ourselves, doesn't imply that it approves of
Allaah for us to do haraam.
Recollect this hadeeth of the Prophet
(صل اللہ عليه و
سلم):
" Whenever Allaah expects to do
great to a worker, He hurries to rebuff him in this world. Furthermore, at
whatever point Allaah expects evil for a worker, He defers the discipline until
the Day of Judgment." (Tirmidhi)
Some Common Ways we bargain in Ribaa
— By taking interest-based LOANS for
houses/business/vehicles, and so forth Or on the other hand assisting somebody
with getting interest-based LOANS, regardless of whether we didn't take that
credit ourselves.
— Putting cash in revenue based BANK
ACCOUNTS (regardless of whether we part with the premium),
— Working for such banks (regardless
of whether we don't manage ribaa),
— Working for a MOTGAGE COMPANY
— Working as a LOAN OFFICER, — Having
an equilibrium on our CREDIT CARD that charges interest, and so on
Earnest allure
O my Brother/Sister… .Ribaa is haraam
as per the Qur'aan, the Sunnah and academic agreement.
We ought to be content with that
which Allaah and His Messenger ( صل اللہ عليه و سلم) have allowed, and abstain from that which Allaah and His
Messenger (صل اللہ عليه و
سلم) have illegal. We ought not be bamboozled by the spread of
ribaa in each spot. We ought not allow the Shaytaan to lead us adrift, pulling
us by our longings.
We need to apologize now … ..For, by
Allaah, on the off chance that we atone genuinely, He will excuse us.
We need to make our expectation NOW,
not tomorrow, not even this evening… …
We ought to get it done NOW to escape
ribaa and He will discover an exit plan for us, without a doubt. Since that is
the thing that He guaranteed.
I ask that we are not from THE ONES
WHO TURN AWAY when helped to remember their Lord's stanzas.
"Who is more prominent in evil
than he who, when helped to remember the sections of his Lord, gets some
distance from them and fails to remember what his hands have sent before him?
We have put cover over their souls in case they ought to get it, and there is
substantialness in their ears. Regardless of whether you call them to direction,
they won't ever be directed."
